Job Description

  • Promoting a range of sealing solutions to customers in the industry, oil & gas, mass transit, aerospace & defence, renewables, plastic and chemical processing industries and many more
  • Acquiring new distributors (clients) in CEE and Austria
  • Managing key and strategic accounts, ensuring the highest possible levels of customer service are maintained and developing these accounts to their optimum revenue potential
  • Ensuring that customer concerns are dealt with quickly and efficiently
  • Identifying new business opportunities within the guidelines of the strategic plan
  • Ensuring that all new accounts and business opportunities are fully evaluated and that each new enquiry has sufficient technical and commercial detail to allow a complete quotation to be established
  • Delivering quotations on new business items, ensuring that the full customer requirement is being addressed
  • Ensuring that the ethical and professional reputation of the company is maintained at all times and that no account is compromised by or compromises the sales and commercial activity

The Successful Applicant

  • A minimum of three year's experience in a field based sales position within sealing application technologies
  • In total more than 5 year's of sales experience in the technical field
  • A track record of achieving KPI, revenue and margin targets
  • (Ideally) a bachelors degree of qualification in mechanical engineering, polymer science, materials science, metallurgy or related
  • Previous experience of the oil & gas, mass transit, aerospace & defence, renewables and/or chemical processing industries or others
  • (Ideally) knowledge of sealing solution market
  • Professional presentation skills and smart appearance
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Hands on ability to resolve customer service issues relating to operational issues and conflicts
  • Clear and effective communication ability, both written and spoken, at all levels within the business and externally to all major customers and stake holders when required
  • High willingness to travel (+70%)
  • Excellent English skills, ideally also fluent in German
