Technical Support Manager - Petrochemical Trading (European Area)

Key Objectives

As the Technical Support Manager, your primary objectives will be to ensure the timely and qualitative organization and control of the claims procedure and to offer effective support to sales and customers through technical consultations and joint trials of products. You will be working with PP and PE products, rubbers, and SBS in the European area.


Your responsibilities as a Technical Support Manager will include:
  • Handling customers' claims regarding the quality of supplier's products and packaging.
  • Providing technical consultations to sales managers and customers, offering insights on specifications and applications of different petrochemical products.
  • Conducting technical marketings of new products for the R&D department of the supplier.
  • Ensuring sales managers and customers have updated product documents.
  • Leading tests of new products at customers'.
  • Addressing customers' requests related to new products, advanced product specifications, and packaging.
  • Preparing technical presentations for customers and fairs.
  • Collaborating with different production plants to secure and maintain product quality.
  • Developing recommendations on the processing of new products for customers.


To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Over 5 years of experience in companies producing and/or processing polymers, with a focus on compounding segments such as PP, PE, PC, ABS, TEP, or rubber compounds.
  • High technical/chemical education in polymers production and/or methods of polymers processing.
  • Fluent in English, and knowledge of French, Russian, or German would be beneficial.
  • Competencies in methods of polymers processing.
  • Knowledge of industry solutions for polymers, synthetic rubbers, and organic synthesis products in segments like packaging, transportation, consumer goods, and construction.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis of data and quality control management systems.
  • Responsible, adaptable, and open to change.

Additional Requirement

Experience in Compounds (Basic Polymers, Rubbers, SBS), Packaging production, Automotive SR, and plastic spare parts/applications will be considered a valuable additional requirement.

Reports to

As the Sales Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Technical Support, but you will also have a direct line to the General Manager.
