Our client is an internationally operating, fast-growing company in the pharmaceutical industry. Within the Pharma business unit, we are looking for an Account Manager (m/f/d) who will strategically manage a diverse customer portfolio, drive revenue growth, and expand long-term supply contracts. You will lead forecasting, planning, and product launch initiatives, connecting internal teams with customer and market needs in an agile, international environment offering flexibility, ownership, and impact.

Your Responsibilities
- Independently manage and grow defined pharma accounts – from daily operations to long-term planning
- Negotiate, renew, and optimize supply contracts while identifying business opportunities
- Take responsibility for annual budgets, forecasts, and reporting, and drive corrective actions as needed
- Handle commercial and contractual escalations in close collaboration with Legal and Finance teams
- Lead onboarding of new customers and partnerships; initiate new SKUs and territories with existing clients
- Support product launches through project coordination, internal alignment, and client communication; attend industry events as company representative
- Ensure operational excellence across the supply chain by coordinating with Supplier Management and Quality, including credit limit oversight
Your Profile
- Degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; comparable commercial qualification also welcome
- Proven experience in (Key) Account Management, Sales, or Licensing within the Pharma or Life Science sector
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills; confident communicator across business and technical teams
- Good understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain and related quality/compliance requirements
- Experience in supplier relationship management; structured, precise, and efficient work style
- Proficiency with SAP SD/MM, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent command of English; German language skills are an advantage
Location & Working Model
This position is based in Hamburg. Hybrid work is available. Initial onboarding requires regular on-site presence; long-term, a consistent presence at the Hamburg office is expected.
