Our client is an internationally growing manufacturing company with a clear focus on excellent products and the highest quality standards, currently seeking a Commercial Operations Manager in Vienna.

The Role
You will establish, coordinate, and centralize our core commercial processes making the commercial organization more efficient, more data-driven, and more scalable. Reporting to the CCO, you lead a small team and act as the strategic-operational link between Sales and its partner functions (Finance, Product, Regulatory, Marketing, SCM).

This is not a back-office support role. You represent Commercial in the Leadership Team and own the operational infrastructure.

What you will do:

  • Own and evolve our CRM (Salesforce) architecture, data quality, dashboards, user adoption
  • Build and maintain KPI frameworks and commercial dashboards that drive decisions, not just reporting
  • Standardize distributor lifecycle processes end-to-end: selection, onboarding, performance reviews, off-boarding, and transitions to direct sales
  • Centralize and govern global commercial contract templates
  • Consolidate forecasting across markets and channels
  • Track commercial headcount and OPEX against plan
  • Manage the cadence and content of key commercial meetings
  • Representing the commercial function in the Leadership Team

What you bring:

  • Several years of proven experience in commercial/sales operations with a focus on partner and channel management not just direct sales models
  • Strong background in commercial reporting, performance tracking, and KPI management, with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights
  • Hands-on CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) including configuration, analytics, and driving adoption across teams
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills - you build high-performing small teams and drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Industry experience in medical technology, life sciences, or diagnostics
  • Excellent command of English
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Vienna
