Data Engineer (data pipeline specialist)

In order to expand their teams of experts in The Netherlands, we look for a Data Engineer with focus on data pipelines to work for the Defense area:
Key Responsibilities
- You will establish, develop, test, analyze and maintain advanced data pipeline applications for complex and scalable data platforms
- You will focus on the CI/CD Pipeline to ensure that the delivery mechanism of all data continues to work optimally
- You will continue to continuously improve and mantain databases
- You will implement new data feeds within the existing data pipelines, and design and create proofs of concept (POCs), new processes and architectures for existing and new requests
- You will document of all the above mentioned activities
- You will make sure you keep up to date with the latest cloud technologies and then translate these into workflow
- You will ask your colleagues and the Defense staff what project requirements, wishes and planning are needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position
- Know-how of the following technologies/practices: ITODP / Devops; Apache Kafka; Golang; Java; Elastic Stack; YAML; JSON; Jenkins; Travis CI; GITLAB; Nutanix
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes
- A good knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment principles
- Experience working in diverse and virtual agile teams
- Excellent communication in Dutch and collaboration abilities
