Master Data Lead (m/f/x)

We are looking for a motivated Master Data Lead (m/f/x) to join the dynamic team of a globally active company at its headquarters in Vienna.

The Role

Take ownership of Master Data Governance in a global SAP S/4HANA transformation. You will build and embed governance structures with a strong focus on Material Master Data and lead this topic as a sub-project within our transformation program.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and drive Master Data Governance (Material Master focus)
• Lead the Master Data Governance workstream within the S/4HANA program
• Define data structures, standards, and governance rules across E2E processes
  (e.g., Plan-to-Fulfill, Idea-to-Market)
• Drive tool selection & implementation (e.g. SAP Master Data Governance)
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and readiness for migration
• Align with business and IT stakeholders across all process streams

What You Bring

• Strong experience in Master Data Governance / Material Master Data
• Proven track record in SAP S/4HANA transformations
• Experience leading cross-functional or project streams
• Deep understanding of data governance & data quality frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management and hands-on mindset
• Fluent in English (business level)

• The salary package is based on your qualifications and professional experience and will be defined in a personal discussion. The gross annual salary for this position starts at € 70.000 for candidates who fully meet the role requirements, with willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
