
Sales Engineer / Bratislava & Western Slovakia
Our client is a premier Western European manufacturing company, recognized as a leader and innovator in the development and sales of high-end products and technical systems for the construction industry (MEP/Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Electrical Systems, and Infrastructure). The company's solutions define quality and efficiency in modern buildings and projects. As part of the expansion of the sales team in Slovakia, we are seeking a technically adept and commercially driven professional (m/f/d) for the position of Sales Engineer.
Your mission will be to actively manage commercial development within the key region of Bratislava & Western Slovakia.
You will not act merely as a salesperson, but as a technical partner and consultant for designers, architects, and key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of existing clients and active acquisition of new customers; building strategic relationships with designers/specifiers (MEP, Civil Engineering, Electrical) and architectural firms
- Account management and development of relationships with existing distribution partners (wholesalers in MEP, Electrical, and Building Materials)
- Providing high-level technical consultancy
- Delivering expert support and advice to construction and installation companies directly on-site
- Systematic market mapping of the region, active tracking of the project pipeline and new construction opportunities
- Conducting professional training sessions and presentations; close cooperation with the international team at headquarters.
Requirements:
We are looking for experienced sales professionals or engineers with proven success in B2B sales within the technical segment (Construction, MEP, Civil Engineering, Electrical, etc.).
This position is ideal for you if:
- You possess an established and active network of contacts among designers, wholesalers, or contractors in the Bratislava and Western Slovakia region
- You are proficient in reading technical documentation and conducting professional technical discussions (technical/construction education is a significant advantage)
- You have a good command of English OR German (min. B2 level) for communication with HQ and technical training
- You are independent, proactive, and capable of systematically managing your time and territory (Home Office based)
- You are an active driver (Cat. B) and proficient with IT systems (MS Office)
