To strengthen the finance and accounting team, we are currently looking for an experienced and committed Senior Accountant (m/f/x).
In this key finance role, you will be responsible for a broad range of accounting activities, including financial reporting, budgeting and cost control, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, tax and regulatory compliance, as well as project cost tracking. You will provide reliable financial insights and support business decision-making in an international project environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records in line with company standards and applicable regulations
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare and support financial reports, statements, analyses, and closing activities
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and cost developments in close cooperation with commercial and project management teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies
- Support audits and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax advisors
- Provide financial insights to management and contribute to continuous process improvements
- Lead Receivables Accountants on junior level and provide support
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in accounting, finance, audit, or financial reporting
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CA or similar) is a plus
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (IFRS), tax regulations, budgeting, cost control, and credit procedures
- Good command of MS Office and proficiency using accounting software (SAP R3 FI/CO / SAP S4/HANA FI is advantageous)
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and a precise, structured, and reliable working style
- Solid communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with different seniority levels
- Fluent Business English skills, both written and spoken
- High level of integrity, resilience, responsibility, and team orientation
