Senior Commercial Manager RENEWABLES (m/w/d)

Our client is a highly successful company in photovoltaics (headquarter in Austria) develops, realises, finances and manages globally alternative investments in the strong photovoltaic growth sector, creating a sustainable value creation. In one of the divers international locations - in this case in JESI / MARCHES AREA (ITALY) the following high potential position is available:

YOUR JOB:

• Identification of offtake solutions for power or other commodities/services produced by companies plants (PV, BESS, and others).
• Direct and indirect origination of potential customers for Power Purchase Agreements (Utility and CPPA), and other types of offtake/commercialization of services for (Battery Energy Storage System) BESS and hydrogen.
• Structured negotiation and closure of PPAs and other types of offtakes.
• Development of new marketing concepts, e.g. in combination with battery systems and management of origination, negotiation and closure of offtake and service agreements for co-located assets (PV+BESS) and standalone BESS.
• Support to the analysis of the Italian power market, and the impact of regulation on energy market and offtake activities of the company Group in Italy.

YOUR COMPETENCES:

• Degree in business administration specializing in energy economics, trading or hedging management or a related field.
• Several years of experience in energy trading and in concluding PPA contracts.
• Past experience in the sale of power to industrial users or procurement of energy supplies for industrial users as advantage.
• Sound knowledge of the energy markets, their regulations and trends.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and strategic planning skills.
• Fluency in Italian and English is a prerequisite. All other languages are an advantage, especially German, French and Romanian.
• Communication and leadership skills.
