Business Trip, Business Rules. An investment conference invitation from a firm based in Rabat arrived with a clear catch: tourism status wouldn't cover it. Commercial visits require the Morocco Business eVisa instead, a single-entry permit allowing thirty days on the ground within a six-month validity window.

Assembling the File

• Passport bio page, clear and undamaged
• A neutral-expression photo against plain background
• Invitation letter naming the host organisation and purpose
• Residence permit or multiple-entry visa, only if nationality required it

Crossing the Border

Immigration officers wanted the same invitation letter presented again on arrival, alongside proof of return travel and roughly seventy euros daily in available funds. Self-employed applicants weren't shut out either, though proof of business activity sometimes came up as an extra request. Standard processing ran several working days, with faster paid options available for tighter schedules, and the whole sequence, letter, application, payment, felt manageable once each document had its place.
