Mastering the Mountain: Core Mechanics & Controls

Success on the slopes is built upon a foundation of precise movement control. The sled in snowrider moves with smooth but sensitive physics, requiring careful inputs.

PC / Keyboard Controls (Desktop)

• Steer Left: Left Arrow Key or A Key
• Steer Right: Right Arrow Key or D Key
• Jump / Hop: Up Arrow Key, W Key, or Spacebar
• Brake / Slow Down: Down Arrow Key or S Key (Use sparingly; this briefly reduces your score multiplier).

Mobile / Touch Controls (Smartphone & Tablet)

• Steer Left/Right: Tapping or swiping on the left or right sides of the screen.
• Jump: Tapping in the center area or a upward swipe.

Crucial Tip: The jump (or hop) mechanic is your single most important survival tool on the upper slopes. Master the timing of jumping over small hazards to keep your momentum without needing to execute complex horizontal dodges.
